Crafting Forever

Fun fold cards are just that – fun! This card is for all my crafty peeps, far and wide.

Card base – Crushed curry 5 1/2 x 4 1/4, plus scrap 1″ x 5 1/4, 2 x 2
whisper white – 9 1/2 x 5 1/4, score 2 1/2, 5 1/2, plus scrap

I cut the “ribbon” out of Crushed Curry card stock to match the card base, using the Arts and Craft Dies. Just a reminder, that if you purchase the Crafting Forever Stamps, and bundle with the Arts and Crafts Dies, you can save 10%.

Then I used one of the Layering Circle dies to create the window. Finally, I used the Button Button embossing folder, just on the front fold. If you embossed before you cut the circle, your embossing might flatten out a bit when you run the circle dies through the rollers of the die cutting machine.

I did all the stamping with Memento ink, and coloured the ribbon stamped image, with the Brights Stampin’ Write Markers.

The curvy little label (Crushed curry), is stamped then die cut.

After you stamp, you can fold and burnish your score lines, and attach the fun fold part to the Crushed curry back part of the card. This is a very quick card to make.

Paper crafting gives me balance in a very hectic life, as a wife, mother and quilt shop owner. Sharing my love of creating is easy, as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and as a quilter. It doesn't matter which medium you choose, I think creativity keeps you young.
