This card was inspired by a card that my downline and close friend, Doreen Teasdale created, during one of our monthly stamping weekends at The Critters’ Den.
I thought this stamp was “nice” but it wasn’t really calling my name, until I saw Doreen’s card. Now, it’s one of my favourites. I’m hoping Stampin’ Up! will keep it in the new catalogue this summer.
Cut your card stock as follows:
Card Base – Garden Green 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, score 4 1/4 and 2 1/8 on the 8 1/2″ side
Blackberry Bliss – 3 1/2 x 3 1/2
Very Vanilla – 5 1/4 x 5, 3 1/4 x 3 1/4
Lily Impressions DSP – 1 7/8 x 5
Stamp your floral designs on the Very Vanilla 3 1/4″ square with Memento Ink. Using the “filler” stamps, finish your flowers with the Blackberry Bliss and Garden Green inks.
Layer on to your Blackberry Bliss 3 1/2″ square.
Create a Z fold with your card base. Adhere the DSP strip to the front small section of the card, then centre the Floral element over the DSP.
Stamp your sentiment on the inside of the card, making sure that it’s centred, so the Floral square covers it.
I hope you like this card – I love it!
