I’m proud and happy to have been married to Glen for the past 10 yrs. We met in 2006, and in 2009, sold both our homes and relocated to be near water, and bought a house together. We didn’t end up on the water, but did land on a golf course property and love our home. We got married a year later, with my daughter, Emily as my Maid of Honour, and my son, Ian, gave me away.
It was a great party!
For this card, I used the SO cute Cling stamp set, Senior Years. I think it’s going to get a lot of use!
Card Base – Basic Grey (8 1/2 x 5 1/2, score at 4 1/4)
First Matte – Cherry Cobbler (5 1/4 x 4)
Second Matte – Whisper White (5 x 3 3/4) – on this matte, I used the score blade of the paper trimer and scored all four sides at 1/8″ from the edge, then 1/4″, just to give it some detail.
Third Matte – Basic Grey – I used the 4th largest die from the Rectangle Stitched Framelits.
Fourth Matte – Whisper white- cut with the 3rd smallest of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits.
I stamped the couple from the Senior Years stamp set and fussy cut them out – adhered them with Mini Dimensionals.
I coloured using the various Stampin’ Blends and embellished with the Share What you Love Artisan Pearls. These are retired but you can take the Pearl Basic Jewels and colour with the Stampin Blend colour of your choice.
I used the Happy Anniversary sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings, stamped in Cherry Cobbler. I fussy cut out the greeting and used the Classic Label Punch to make a small accent piece from Cherry Cobble card stock.
My inside sentiment was “The good things in Life are better with you” from Tasteful Touches Cling stamp set.
