This beautiful card was created by one of my team members, Doreen Teasdale, while visiting for our monthly stamping retreat.
To start with, she used Blushing Bride ink on a piece of Blushing Bride card stock – 5-1/4 x 4, lightly brushed using the Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative masks, and our Stampin’ Blending Brushes.
Next, she stamped the smaller floral design from the Blessings of Home stamp set using Blushing Bride on Basic White, then die cut the rectangle, using one of the rectangle Stitched So Sweetly dies. The sentiment is from Elegantly Said stamp set from the Annual catalogue.
Doreen used a retired ribbon but you can certainly use any ribbon you have around, or if you have a white ribbon, it’s easily coloured with the Stampin’ Blends, to match whatever colour scheme you’ve used. Adhere the ribbon to the back of the card stock using Tear’n Tape, then adhere both layers to a Blushing Bride card base (5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4). On the inside, Doreen adhered a Basic White layer (4 x 5-1/4), and stamped a partial stamp of the floral design. To finish it off, she put a few Champagne Rhinestones on the front of the card.
I hope you enjoyed this card, and decide to make one (or more) of your own, in any colour combination that you like. Below you will find a list of the products that she used. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
