I love this stamp set for it’s simplistic water-colour look. I used the retiring 2020-2022 In-Colours Magenta Madness, Just Jade and BumbleBee. I believe the Ink refills for the Bumble Bee and Just Jade are sold out but if you don’t have the ink pads, they’re available as of right now. ** If you are placing an order and get the message “Discontinued”, the item has been sold out. Card base – Just Jade 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, scored at 4-1/4, Basic White (2) 4 x 5-1/4, Basic White scraps for floral die cut and sentiments
I needed a lot of these cards for my March swaps, birthday and thank you cards, so I pre-cut several of the large floral die and used my die brush attachment for my Take your pick tool, to get all the little bits out of the die cuts. I used washi tape to mark where my card stock would go, on my Stamparatus, so all the stamping would be in the correct spot. I placed the die cut onto the card stock to determine where to place the stamp, then lowered the plate of the Stamparatus to pick up the stamp. I removed the die cut, then stamped all of the Magenta Madness layers, then repeated the process for the other two colours. I used an ink dauber to apply Bumble Bee ink to the centre of the large flower. I applied Tombow Multipurpose glue just to the centre areas of the die cut and layered it over the stamped image.
On the inside, I used the daubers to put Magenta Madness and Bumble Bee onto the large water-colour stamp, then stamped to one side of the second piece of Basic White , 4 x 5-1/4 and adhered inside the Just Jade card base.
I used scraps to stamp out my sentiments – some in Just Jade and some in Memento Black.
I used dimensional to layer the sentiment banners soon the card, and completed the look with some Opal Rounds.
