How cute is this??

I made this ‘twist and pop’ card for my grandson’s 2nd birthday last month. The cut out critters are from the new Designer Series Paper called “Zoo Crew”, and the Croc is from a retired stamp set called “Hey Love”. I stamped the leaves, using the new “Online exclusive” stamp set – “Tropical Leaf”. I also used some leftover elements from an older Paper Pumpkin. I always keep all my ‘bits”, because you never know when you’re going to need a little chameleon or heart in a card.

Check out my YouTube tutorial here. This card is a great way to use up some retired DSP for your backgrounds, or stamp directly on your card stock to create some texture.

The new annual catalogue came to life last week. I’m sorry I’ve been incommunicado of late. I’ve been helping a friend, who is recovering from major surgery and have been working in a lovely salon, called “The Country Salon” in our town. I have about another month to go, but will really work at being a bit more “in your face” in the meantime. If you didn’t know, I’m a retired aesthetician, and am enjoying being back in the workforce. Having said that…. lol… I look forward to Dale coming back, so I can do more stamping and quilting. The owner of the shop, Anna is so lovely and making every day a joy!
