Early release “Waves of the Ocean” is making a huge splash
Discover the depths of the ocean—and your artistic abilities—with the Waves of the Ocean Collection! This coastal collection includes an inspiring set of stamps and detailed dies, both early-release products from the upcoming 2022–2023 Annual Catalogue. Plus, a pack of paper made from hand-poured paint, blue-hued foil sheets for a sea of shine, and radiant rhinestones for a splash of sparkle—each an exclusive product you can only purchase during the promotion period!
I saw this card on a demonstrators group and just loved it. To make this card, I used a Night of Navy card base and layered a Basic White mat of 4 x 5-1/4″. Then I took a Balmy blue piece of card stock 3-3/4 x 5″, and heat embossed the wave stamp in white embossing powder. I placed the Adhesive sheets on a piece of Balmy Blue and the dark blue foil. Then I die cut one of the wave dies in the blue foil, and the other one in balmy blue card stock, layered on top of the white embossed wave. I die cut the clouds from Basic White, then layered the dies on top of the die cuts and used my Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends marker to draw in the openings on the dies, to create the detail in the clouds.
I heat embossed the sentiment in white embossing powder on Night of Navy card stock. After stamping a few birds in Night of Navy ink, I added a few of the Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels to finish off the front.
On the inside, I used a piece of the Waves designer series paper, about 3 x 4, and a piece of Crumb Cake about the same size. I also stamped the pelican with Crumb cake ink on Crumb Cake paper, and die cut it . I tore the bottom of the Wave DSP, to give it a more ‘organic’ look.
As always, I am available to help out in any way I can. If you’d like to place an order this month, Please use this host code to place an order under $200. 9ATV699G
