It’s World Card Making Day!

Today is a great day to make a card (or two) and send a card. There are few things better than receiving a handmade card in the mail. I would love to see you “case” this card and post on my Facebook page

If you placed an order with me during the month of September, you’ll be receiving one of these beauties in the next week or so, along with your qualifying thank you gifts. I love the simplicity of this card but especially, the punch that the coloured banner gives, backing the Garden Poetry DSP. From left to right, the colours are Peaceful Pine, Blueberry Bushel, Peaceful Pine again, Flirty Flamingo, Peaceful Pine (again lol), Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze. Can you tell I LOVE Peaceful Pine?? The embossing folder is the Paradise Garden Hybrid folder. I used the Classic Greetings Hot Foiling Dies to create the sentiments. On the first card on the left, I used the Reverse Hot Foiling plate, and the “skeleton” of the gold sentiment, so there’s no waste.

On the inside I used the Floral silhouette (stamped off) from the Fragrant Layers stamp set, (which unfortunately, just became unavailable)…..just use a lovely floral that you like. And, the sentiment is from the Natural Artistry Stamp set.
