This beautiful floral suite is coming your way on April 1st. The Ornate Garden Suite is part of the selection for the new Annual 2020/21 catalogue, coming in June, but as an early release, we get to enjoy it before the catalogue comes live on June 3rd. This card was inspired by a card from a member of the Stampin’ Up! Design Team, Emma Goddard, in the UK.
Cut your card stock as follows:
Card Base – Very Vanilla
8-1/2 x 5-1/2, score at 4-1/4
Very Vanilla (cut 2) 5-1/4 x 4, plus small scrap
Garden Green – half sheet
Ornate Foil DSP – fussy cut flowers
I heat embossed the large floral design with gold embossing powder, onto Garden Green card stock, then fussy cut it out.
Die cut the larger of the scrolled frames from the Ornate Layers Dies, from the Garden Green card stock.
Emboss one of the Very Vanilla pieces, with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder. Layer onto the card base, adhering with your favourite snail or liquid glue.
On top of this, layer your Ornate Layers frame, and then place your embossed floral element onto this.
Place your fussy-cut flowers onto your embossed leaf/floral, adhering with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Heat emboss your sentiment, in gold and trim. Embellish with the gilded gems.
I hope you enjoy the tutorial video. Have a great weekend.
