Say hi with Pedal to the Metal and Geared Up Garage

April 13, 2020

I made this card to say hello to my son, Ian, who is an essential worker in the Toronto area. He is an avid dirt biker and when he gets a day off, you can most often find him stirring up the dust on his bike.

The card base is Night of Navy, and the front matte is Crumb Cake. I stamped images from Geared Up Garage and the tire treads from Pedal to the Metal with VersaMark and embossed with clear embossing powder. I used the Stampin’ Sponge to smudge some crumb cake randomly on the card stock, and around the dirt bike image, which I die cut with the Stitched Nested Labels. I used the Classic Label Punch for the sentiment. I used Very vanilla for the dirt bike and sentiment.
