I love this stamp set. This month, I know I’ll be obsessing with this Painted Poppies Stamp Set. It’s available as a suite, as a bundle or all by itself, in the 2020 Mini Occasions Catalogue.
I used Basic Black for the card base – cut 4 1/4 x 11, score at 5 1/2″
Matte layer – Old Olive – 5 1/4 x 4
Front – Whisper White – 3 3/4 x 5
Using Basic Gray, I stamped the verse stamp from the Very Verailles set, centred in the Whisper White
I stamped the design in Memento Tuxedo Black and used the random dot stamp to give a hint of colour with Poppy Parade and Old Olive.
I heat embossed the “Happy Birthday” on black card stock, using the Whisper White Embossing powder and cut it out, using the Classic Punch. Don’t forget to sweep your card stock with the embossing buddy before stamping with the Versamark, to avoid having embossing powder stick where you don’t want it. If necessary, you can use a small paint brush, to remove any unwanted embossing powder, before using the heat tool.
Once assembled, I applied a few of the frosted epoxy droplets, because…. every card needs bling!
